As you can see I have a butterfly in all of the pictures, this one being the most in your face, as the story goes from the front of the cover, while the figure is decaying into an inorganic form the butterfly is there to meet them. I used the butterfly in all of the parts of the CD cover because the butterfly has become a symbol of transformation, and hope, as well as a symbol for rebirth and ressurrection.
I have a stone like thing and fire in the background for earth and fire. Fire being a symbol of pain and death but also a symbol of rebirth and ressurection or a form of purification. But I also have the stone there as a symbol of permanence and stability and divine immortality.
This is the perfect way to describe nature, a power that is fragile and yet so strong and so permanent. We as humans tend to have a destructive quality and the idea is we could destroy ourselves, and while we can totally annhiliate ourselves.....nature will always be there....it will find a way to be reborn and it will live on and adapt to purify and heal the earth.
