Well I guess it didn't take me all that long to make all four of them ^^ only about two days (info on the bottom)
1996: First best picture of an animal. I had lots more to choose from but his one I liked more that was in 1996 that is
1997: A bit of shading but that all that great.
1998: Made a lot on improvement at shading thanks to a teacher at my high school ^^
1999: started to try new things, like feathers and make shading a tad bit better.
2000: I had trouble with short hair animals but this one turned out nice.
2001: started to add black to the backgrounds of my shaded art. Makes it pop out more.
2002: added a bit of color to this one. and also paint in the BG.
2003: had so much trouble trying to make fur perfect. Until one of my teacher at my college showed me some tips.
2004: Stipple art! When I started that fad.
2005: This is when I started my angel animal art. Inspired by my dog Nakita (The pic you see there)
2006: DARK shading was added for this shading. Experimenting ^^
2007: Where I'm at now drawing my pets. Not so much in shading anymore but maybe I'll start again some time this year. ^^

It's amazing to see how much one improves over the years. I wonder if there's hope for me.... 
It's the eyes that get me the most; like the bird in '99, the wolf in '01, and the dog in '03. Oh, and definitely the panther in '06. The way you draw them, so bright and clear. I have the worst trouble when it comes to eyes.
I must do this one day, when I'm not so ashamed of my old art!
