Warning: Large image file
This is something i put together last night, it started life as a collection of Mental Ray material experimentations but put together they seemed to look really cool, so i thought I'd upload it. I reckon it'd look good framed on my wall, but there's no way I'm re-rendering all of those teapots at the necessary resolution.
Edit: Yes, for those eagle eyed viewers i did change the submission slightly, i just found this version flowed better.

Why did they render so long...? They look like realy simple images: single non-complicated object and shadow-mat (I think). Seriously... rendering one of those should take minutes if not seconds at 2048x2048 resolutions.

Um, okay, it's the Utah teapot with some nice materials and good shadows.

how did it take you hours? you could've just created the teapot (5 sec) then use Vray for the render.
