Say WUT?! Traditional art from Sam? As in.. pencil, ink, and paper? That's right. So here we have Gardenia enjoying the shade of a tree, and as never seen before, wearing non wizard clothes (it's rare, but it happens ^^). I never did want to finish that other side of the scenery, afraid to ruin it.
I drew this in Germany last summer, I think when I was in Hamburg. Or was it Koln? *shrug* Anywho, I've had this up on my fridge since last summer and never bothered to upload it.

Uh, your lineart is stunning, as always! May I asked what you used exactly? (like special pencil or pen or something)
Gardenia Marvally Says:
Thanks! And sure thing. Here's my process: First I do it all in pencil, but I used ColErase pencils (either red or blue). Regular pencils are too messy and don't scan out very well. The most important part is using different sized pens for the ink. I have a set of four Staedtler brand felt pens (.25 .35 .5 and .75). After the inking is done (and it's DRY!!), I erase whatever pencil might be showing behind the ink and that's that.

This one is absolutly amazing! I love the details of the trees, and the Rocks under her. it looks natural, but has a cartoon touch! And especially because you left out the right side, the effect is more obvious! Great!

Yeesh...as always, beautiful work!! I especially love the details you put into the tree trunk and the rocks - it really does have a natural yet cartoony touch!

I really do like this, how it's a "bonus" picture..

Very nice work. It has some really cool details--like the tree bark, which is awesome and all the details in her clothes--and I love how you did the rocks/earth at the bottom of the little rise on which she's lounging.
