I drew this at art history class. The teacher showed us a slideshow about monumental sculptures, and there was a picture of a statue of a boy in a position similar to this. I though it would fit young Julian, a few moments after his wings were cut off.
I also though it would be a nice pose to test a light source I dont use much and make a darker picture than most of my drawings.
I added a texture and a gardiant-thing to it in photoshop, but otherwise it is made of pencil.
If anyone knows this sculpture, please tell me who made it and what his name is so that I could credit it. thank you ^^!

The drawing is good, i can feel the position. But I think you need to loose your hand a bit more, make long strokes. Draw without fear of making errors in the drawing and you'll get eventually better.
I've been drawing figure drawing like a month now, and thats basically the first thing you should learn, follow the gesture lines with a loose hand. I liked your drawing though, good work :)
