i was actually trying to find a suitable fill technique in photoshop (as opposed to GiMP, which I've already deleted.)
so yes, it's both practice and fanart.
Question: How does one remove blue entirely from an image? I used a blue pencil to sketch, but I found it annoying and difficult to remove. The doodz needs her answers!

hmm.after you ink it in, I guess you turn up the brightness and contrast all the way up to make the blue lines disappear. If you want, you want to, you can digital ink over it. that is if you have patience. Cute picture btw.

I have the sketch on a seperate layer and colour over the top of it. Then when I finish I remove the sketch layer.

A belated Valentines day gift for friends? This looks like it might due with the title, "The reluctant kiss receiver, or how to surprise that special someone". It's very nice imagery that you've put together here, I'm sure the character creators will love this to bits. Probably even more, if this is in wallpaper size. By the way, if you're still looking into experimenting with Photoshop alternatives, try looking into Paintshop Pro, if you haven't already.

I love the way you can do so many different styles, and they all look so cute! X3
