I love Marie PrandPre's art for the covers, even thought he UK editions are gorgeous too, there's just something so nice and simple yet wonderful about her illsutrations.
I find it interesting that in the beginning she was getting paid terribly for doing the covers, then once HP hit big money, she was still getting paid the same. So she threatened to leave her contract and they gave her more money
Which she totally deserves!
