Great Black-backed Gull

Articuno Form Physical Description:

Naturally, nothing on Articuno easily distiguishes her from others of her species, but always wears a blue topaz necklace given to her by Xai. Articuno also has a necklace with a white feather given to her by Hawkie.
Ice-blue all over, her three crest feathers and tail are a slightly deeper shade and her outstretched wings reveal translucent areas. Red eyes and white chest feathers, dark lilac-blue coloured bill and legs. She stands 5'5 in height and her tail reaches a length of around 1.5 meters. Her talons are sharp and as white as her chest.

Gull Form Physical Description:

Articuno looks to be your regular Great Black-backed Gull but upon closer inspection, one might notice her back feathers are actually an unsaturated, navy-blue colour instead of the usual dark grey. Her eyes are large with pale blue orbital rings and deep, brown irises. Her bill is thick and powerful, sun-yellow coloured with a noticable red spot on the lower mandible. Her body feathers are white when clean, the primary feathers are as black as can be and boast pure white "mirrors", typical of most gull species.
Her pink legs are slightly more coloured than that of her fellow Great Black-backs, very thin with delicate, little, white talons on the tips of her webbed toes.
Her tail is white and square shaped, fanned during flight.

Ok so I would say I'm rather loud, I eat an awful lot and still manage to stay as slim and light as a birdy. I love water (especially oceans) and aquatic creatures, I'm very likely to steal your food if you're not looking.. or even if you are! I'm extremely playful and have a child-like mind but I am also mature and know that there is a time and place for everything. I used to be utterly shy around people but today I'm mostly confident enough to converse and socialise with people I don't know.

When it comes to friendship, you'll find that it is very easy to get to know me but not easy to get close to me. I have very few true friends mostly because of being used and lied to in the past, also people in today's society just don't seem to like me much! It might be my interests or the fact that I don't like today's society either, whatever the case I'm not fussed!

I'm half Italian and half Peruvian but people NEVER guess my nationality correctly! I get told that I look 16-18 very often, no one ever believes me when I tell them my real age! There are a bunch of photos and videos scattered around so you may already know what I look like.
I'm engaged to a fox-lover who you may already know as Xai, we're planning to marry in a few years after we save and buy a house. We met in Bristol back in September 2007 on one of those "furmeets", a gathering for people who consider themselves to be furries. Before you ask, I am absolutely not a furry but my interests are similar to those used to characterise them such as animal art and costuming.

So since 2007, me and Xai have distanced ourslves from the furry fandom and their little meetups, they tend to be full of everything we dislike. Most social gatherings are though. We prefer to stick with our good old friends here at The Sky Temple and often hold our own meetups!

If we're not meeting up with our friends from The Sky Temple, we can usually be found travelling by car or rail somewhere, going for walks, trainspotting or birdwatching, swimming, building things, playing games, cooking very large meals for ourselves and our guests, watching movies.. geeky I know!

Both me and Xai enjoy going out at night time for walks on the beach, quiet country lanes etc. We find it incredibly relaxing even though there aren't any birds around! Star filled skies make up for that because we're really interested in anything related to space.

Recently I got a job at a computer/gaming store called CEX after being unemployed for seven months. Unfortunately it is minimum wage unlike my previous job which I really miss by the way, I used to help people fix their computer problems by telephone. Not only was the wage brilliant but so was the job itself. Xai is a train driver, he's perfectly happy where he is and even during the recession, he has a strong career for life. Rail transport isn't going anywhere.

I'm still trying to find a career myself, something a lot more serious than my current job. I have a few dreams, one is to work with trains and the other more far-fetched dream is to fly planes, I've taken one flying lesson already and really enjoyed it but I'm more interested in "flying along the rails" these days!

While I'm online, I enjoy chatting to my community members and helping them out as well as spending endless time working on The Sky Temple! I love checking out all the lovely art/photographs on DeviantArt, having TeamSpeak conversations, drawing and designing with Photoshop and posting on various forums.
