UPDATE 27/03/07
-I've changed the feet animation following the advices I received :)
-Reduced a bit the overall size to 11ko (Can't really do much due to the use of tweening animation, even if I hate preloaders louder than 1ko :p) But we have to make a choice, cool anims or light preloaders =p
-Made the phylactery (text bubble) switching so that it can be visible along the loading.
-And turned it into a component, easy to use, with some cool parameters features including basics of fscommand and possibility to show/hide the phylactery.

I hope the fact it belongs to a deviantart contest won't make it wrong here since it's still a flash work, an animation. So I hope you'll like it :)
To simulate the bandwidth , press key UP/DOW to increase/decrease it. (Click on the flash object to give it focus before though).

Feet looks odd but that arrow thingy is pretty good idea though, and preloader is excellent

The feet are a little strange, the eyes aren't really looking the right way for the expression/action that is happening, and there's a massive amount of gradient raping going on there (which really isn't your fault considering deviantArt made their guy that way). I would suggest trying a different coloring other than gradients. Hell, use some texturing, I think it would look nice. Great idea, but just not mastered in the right way.
