(I categorized this as radio broadcast because it's the closest to what it is I think)

I've made a message like this before. I just care to repeat it once more. I don't mind if you don't share the same sentiment, I just want my request honoured and respected, that is all.

thankyou, doodlibop

I didn't roll my eyes or anything :3 I can see why you wouldn't want people saying stuff like that to you. I try not to use that terminology but my friends use 'OMG' around me a lot, so I say it sometimes Bad habit ;o; But yeah, I see where your coming from X3

Uber Man Says:

I've actualy been saying it less (to not at all) since I met you.
Like a little buzzer in the back of my head saying "This would bother doodlibop"

Quite honestly I'd have to say your like a role model to me. Very honest and focused on doing what you feel is right.
While at the same time being respectful of people who think your full of it.
(Oh my I think i'm tearing a little)

Highfive

Yoru Ryu Says:

I use the term (it's not a real term is it? xD) quite often, but i've been quite mindful of my language recently 'specially around SA. I think it gets to be a habbit of people, so i'm sorry if i've used it and offended you. I'm just practically oblivious to most people and their likes/dislikes and treat everyone the same until they tell me otherwise X3

glmathgrant Says:

Your speaking voice is rather pretty. And I'm not rolling my eyes; God does deserve respect. I myself tend to read OMG as the somewhat less offensive "oh my gosh", though, so I tend not to take so much offense at it. Still not rolling my eyes, though. I'm glad I listened, actually. :)

Cat Megex Says:

I don't think I ever use "OMG" or anything like that, mainly because I don't usually get that excited over things over the Internet...

But anyway...what exactly is it that irritates you about the use of "OMG" and related phrases? You kind of said it, but you didn't really....

DeviousZen Says:

I've encountered those kinds of comments a lot before in other places on the Net, often been a victim of it myself. I'm very glad you made this recording as it's something that everyone needs to hear. A lot of people must feel the same way whenever they hear others' names spoken in vain as well, kudos for saying it out loud and exposing more people to how offensive it really is to hear something like that.

Cat Megex Says:

That is, do you feel that it's "used in vain", so to speak, or is it something else about its use that you disapprove of?

...On a possibly-unrelated subject, I've always thought of that "name in vain" thing to mean that you shouldn't take an oath using god's name if you have no intent of keeping that oath (that is, by swearing by god that you would/would not do something when in reality you would not/would do it, which would be a very big lie)....

...Am I making any sense here? It's really late, and I'm not quite sure what it is that I'm typing...

Sue Zooey Says:

Hmkay, sorry if I used it. (: Won't do it again^^
