I know, I suck, there's no melody! I...proly could've BS'd one pretty easy, but I didn't want to.

Sounds good, like something that would be used as background in a movie/videogame, you know the kind of underscore type thing that doesn't need nor want a melody.

I can't figure out why I like this song. It's a serious song, like you'd find in some serious video game, but not the boring kind of serious. Until I figure out in more detail why I like this song despite the lack of a real melody, you'll have to settle for a commentless fave.

Hmmm...sounds vaguely like the Phantom Train theme in FFVI in the beginning. Uematsu rocks! And I agree with Joann...it does remind me of FFVIII as well.
Its short, but still well done.
