Ack, please ignore this as a book cover. I completely forgot the concept that Crystal and I had in mind whenever drawing this, so if completed this will be promotional art.
Iku, the leading character in the manga Aikaze. Her primary emotion is Apathy, meaning she has no emotion. She has no weapon, no attacks and no abilities. Aikaze is also Iku's last name.
In the book cover, Caspia is supposed to be hovering behind her, creating the illusionary world that she will reside. I ran out of room to draw Caspia, so woo. This is just the base sketch for Iku. Notice anything different? She's back in her old Japanese influenced design. I won't say why.

This is also not the finalized drawing for the cover of the first book, it has to be approved first. It is possible that you'll be expecting SEVERAL designs on book covers before it's finally completed.

Now, here's the issue- would she have her wings that early on in the novel? o.O That's my quirk on this.
Ooooh, and I'll have a present done sometime during the next week or so that'll help us out in concerning my idea for the cover! :0 And you'll be able to use it as sort of an anime ref of Iku whenever you want!
