Yea, Honestly i had a really rough time trying to draw Kumiko's hair (I admit i 'SUCK' at drawing bangs)
And it still doesn't quite match the original. (In short, i think i screwed up on her hair.
)
Only the original creator can get the job done.
And i don't really know what to dress her up with.
So i just added in wings just to fill in the space. T____T
In the end, i almost mistaken it to be a fanart of Flonne from Disgaea. O_o

But yea, overall, i really like her character, simple yet sweet.

Don't try to conform to others' styles. It shouldn't match the original, this is the point of an art trade - to see your work in someone else's hand ;f
Have you ever used a 3D program? Try to build the bangs mentally as if it was in such a program. After all, manga is not a 'cartoon', it's an emulation of real life, and needs grounding in something at least semi-real. :>
