I think I have lost years of my life because of this goddamn picture. It all started when I was like, "You know, I've never colored a romantic picture. Yeah! I should do one!" Long story short it kind of evolved into more of a horror picture. Whoops. In any case I'm having a bitch of a time on the coloring, redoing parts at least 5 times. It's been a day and a half and all I have to show for it is the rendering on Searil's skin a third of the way done. And a kinda crappy background. :(
They also got off-modeled pretty hard. Originally Searil was going to be the one looking like a total badass but I saw in the preliminary sketches that either Lawrence could look like a total badass and Searil could look like a frail little girl or Searil could look like a total badass and Lawrence could look like a frail little girl. I'll keep trying to get it colored, but it's hella stressful.

As a random side note, finally saw 300. Did anybody else think it was kind of weird that a society all about throwing weak or disfigured babies off cliffs as well as shipping their male children off to fighter death camps and whipping them to become the ultimate warriors were rambling all about freedom and humanity? Kinda weird, but nevertheless it was a kickass movie. I hope you live forever. :)
