Some of you may or may not remember DXL. I've had him for four years now, as of yesterday.
I decided however that I wanted to change him a bit. I've ALWAYS hated drawing DXL, as his legs were so hard for me to draw. And they didn't look very robotic at all. This time though, I think I pulled it off with a little bit of help. General Grievous from Star Wars has the leg structure I was looking for for DXL, and it really helped me get it down right. I also used another reference (it's of Grievous); I found this picture by Gatobob-Spotty, and the leg structure was just simply amazing, and totally helped me out. I hope you don't mind, Gato. DD: That pic of Grievous is just sexy!
Oh, and his shirt thing is like .. uh .. it's hard to explain. It has longer ends on the back but it goes around his tail and not over it. 0_o .. it like, cuts off at the top of his tail and goes down the sides of his body .. if that makes sense. e_e And the collar he's got is part of the shirt.
Anyway uhm .. yea. I really like how DXL's feet came out. And I've also decided to give him back his manhood, just because it made no sense that he didn't have it to begin with. His story is all messed up, I need to fix it. :[
Lawl, happy birthday, DXL. :d
