This is a picture of a Yellow-Crowned Night Heron (( Nyctanassa violacea )). I was inspired to draw one after I saw a photo of one on the Calendar at the museum I volunteer at. Anyway, sort of a tryout with shading and such, I found out that I fail at drawing realistic water, but that's okay
