OHSNAPS IT'S VOLDEM-*BRICK'D*
Er. You-Know-Who. Anyway, you should be getting an idea of where I'm going with this cover now. Harry faces off with Voldemort, yatta yatta yatta. I played with three hues for Voldie's robe, yellow (for the color scheme I'm shooting for), green (to match up with Harry's eyes and a possible Avada Kedavra "charge up" or something), and blue (to match up with his skin in the even I went with his movie color scheme). I went with the yellow and anchored his skin a little towards gray-green.
I wanted to put a lot of detail in the little bit of Voldemort you can see, so I used a scientific illustration of the human hand circulatory system to put a vein system in the back of his hand. There'll also be more detail in the final version if all goes well- I plan on doing a lot of stuff with lighting.
As for the wand, I took a little bit of inspiration from the movie-verse Voldemort wand, but toned it down. Can you honestly see Tom Riddle at Hogwarts with that bony clawed wand? Kinda screams "EXPEL ME. I'MA GROW UP AND BE THE WIZARD HITLER LOLZ". Not to mention it's an Ollivander wand, and Ollivander doesn't strike me as one to make such a morbid wand. And, like I did with Harry's wand, I looked up the color of Yew wood to keep the wand color canonical.

The subtle details are quite impressive, I worry if they'll still show through on a compressed version, when you email it to them though x_x
