FULL VIEW PLEASE! (Looks weird when it is not in full view)
Very simple space art I made to clear my head and give me ideas for another space art I am working on.
I made the starfield myself, instead of using brushes. It looks a little unprofessional but it's ok I guess.
This was kind of a distraction until I figure out what to add to another space art project and give it more life and color.
Comments and constructive criticism appreciated (Also I like tutorials, so if you know of any good tutorials to improve my work, gimme gimme :p)
Enjoy
Edit: Made the glow/halo around the planet a little smaller.

Absolutely stunning. You need to consider getting into the graphics and web designing business and open up a graphics site. :3 You'd do a smashing job.

This is beautiful...the new take on the concept of "sunrise" is intriguing and very well-done. The halo-thing around the whole planet (it is a planet, right?) jars a bit though - the sun/star would have to bulge at the bottom for that effect, surely.
It wins a favourite despite that. ^^

another awesome artwork of yours! The shiny atmosphere is brilliant, looks very good! I think there are some stars too much in the background, but at all its a very good one! Well done, keep on!

That's beautiful! Great job :3

I'd suggest making the aura a little brighter on the side where the sun is, and darker on the other side... I also think the galaxy should continue on the other side of the planet, because it looks kinda weird the way it is.
I like the texture on the planet though, and that starfield is pretty.
