Presenting the Master System 1 - retro-coolness at its very best. For those who don't recognise it, this is what the 8-BIT Master System looked like in 1986. I much prefer this design to the Master Ststem 2 but then again i'm a traditionalist, through and through.

This pic is based on a photo I took a little while back of one of my Master System consoles. I used Photoshop's layers and the Pen Tool to trace over the image, and then I coloured the lineart once I had completed it. I deliberately used flat colour to make the console look simplistic - originally I wasn't going to add text, details and the Sega logo to the console but it looked a little plain so I had a go at putting them on and it turned out a lot better than I thought it would!

Everything you see in this image is original - I reproduced the Sega logo in the corner from scratch, and none of the original photo appears in this image. I'm happy with the results, and as an added bonus the picture didn't take that long to complete!

Bloody hell o0 sounds painstaking oo;
It's very well done! It looks like something you would find in a gamers magazine

what hannah said, very nice work! ^.^

Ah, those were the days. Trying to get past the paper-scissors-stone people on Alex Kid, and that bitch-hard second boss on Sonic Chaos, though the entire game was pips-easy otherwise! And the fact that you had the pause button on the console so you had to get up and go over to it to pause the game!

This is excellently done, it would pass off perfectly as the box for the console itself, Things were so much simpler then, *sigh*.
