This is my submission to the club's contest to design a quadruped!
These Droids are from the Star Wars game Knights Of The Old Republic, and are called Spyder droids.
They were created by an Ancient race called The Rakata, who dominated a lot of the galaxy many thousands of Years Before Star Wars Episode 1.
These droids and most of the Rakatan technology are capable of independantly re-building themselves (over a period of time), and are therefore almost indestructable. Another brilliant feature of these droids are that they are equipped with what is believed to be one of the first types of blaster guns, which for their day would have been a very formiddable weapon indeed. Each droid is also equipped with a small shield generator.
The room I modeled for these droids is my variation on the anctient Rakatan Temple seen in the game.

The scenery is pretty nice; I suggest a bit of variation to the texture mapping, but overall, I think you'll do well in your competition you're participating in.

Very nice! I love KOTOR and like the way you have the whole scene set up like an area in the game. I want to use security to open one of the footlockers.
