happy belated valentine's day!
*sigh* i tried coloring in painter for the first time with the picture. i think my wrist fell off a few times. anyone recommend a good tablet so i can stop using a mouse?

Wacom. Wacom brand makes the best kind of tablets. Depending on your budget, I'd go for either a 4x5 graphire or a... 9x12 intuos, I think. The 4x5 graphire is the cheapest of the wacom line (around $99, I think), but is also _incredibly_ small. It's good for starters, though. I've found that the 9x12 is the best size if you've got the money for it (it can cost around $300)--it's big enough that you can use your whole arm for digitally painting, but small enough so that you don't have to lunge across the bloody thing every time you want to draw a line. Also, in terms of wacom brands, graphire is the basic bread-and-butter build, having only really the tablet. Intuos has a much better feel and also has customizable buttons on the sides, so you can hotkey things like "undo" (VERY useful). Whoa that was long.
As for a digital mouse painting--very nice. The flow is very dynamic. :3

Ooh! It's Sanzo and Vincent, two of my fave characters! Awesome work. I have a 4x5 wacom tablet. I say it was a good investment because that way you can pratice honing your tablet skills.
