After reading the 2nd FMA novel (in which Ed called Roy "daddy~"), I really think that Roy and Ed's relationship are kind of like father and son (or brothers), this pic is sort of inspired by that.
... Alternatively, you can look at this as a shounen-ai pic.... *sigh*

Aww! So cute! ^__^ Yes, I completely agree! In Edo's mind he didn't have a father to depend on so I guess he kinda sees Roy as that figure in his life.
