Um, uh... before people start asking, this was for a contest. The task was to take a sailor senshi and redesign their outfits so that they represented a certain part of the world in a certain time period.
Wow, what a horrible way to explain it... xD;; That made no sense at all... but pretty much this is "sailor peoples around the world and in the past" xDDD;;;
I asked if I could do the starlights, and it was okay. ^.^ Here are the starlights and the three lights if they lived in the U.S. in the 1920s. o.o I thought it would be cool to show both gender fashions of the time.
I fail at marker gradients. D: The bg is horrendous... and I don't like how the hats came out, but I like everything else. xD This was the first time I used my markers in quite a while.

Their expressions are so serious but it's impossible to take them seriously in those outfits! A really novel idea... I like it a lot!
