One of the most recent pieces I've done so far, based on a much later point in Iaeruki's life. We're looking at around... a few hundred years beyond the current point in the timeline, and Iae's sitting in a healing house waiting room, waiting for any news on the progress of his new mate, Shilke. At the beginning of this particular point in his life, she was just put into a healing home after being torn apart near to death--by his hand, however not by his own will.

Rather, my dear scholar-boy, Methaeus, has a brother; this brother has already been corrupt. He also has a personal vendetta against Iae after he killed their other brother. As a result, he has this certain attraction to making Iae's life as twisted and miserable as he possibly can. Just as the poor dragon boy is actually getting back on his feet, and feeling comfortable both with his life, and with the times, he decides to slip into his head, and then forcibly take control of his body.

Aaand then starts wreaking havoc, starting first with Shilke, who of course tries to defend herself until chaotically paralyzed, at which point she can only sit by and take it as the body of her lover rips her apart. Then Methaeus realizes what's going on. He gets pissed, has a vocal battle with his brother, until engaging him in combat, and then forcing himself to beat the shit out of Iae's body in order to drive his brother out of it.

Here we're looking at the aftermath ( http://www.gaiaonline.com/journal/?mode=view&p=7053113 ), and the utter shame Iae expresses for what's happened; as can only be his tradition, he's blamed himself entirely for it.

For once, I actually do like how this has come out for the most part. The position was a bit of an experiment, though it seems to have worked out better than I originally expected, in all of my pessimism. The hair took forever to get even like that, yet still something doesn't look quite right, though that may just be me. Figuring out the base of the ear again was oh-so-much fun, and for once I actually decided to shade in his pants. Of all the black I did shade, half the time I never even bothered with his clothes, but I suppose now I'm trying to put a little more effort into my stuff overall.

My favorite part is probably the expression on his face, and the way his eye came out. The shading beneath it was a pain, but the end result is strangely satisfying to me. Oh, and the title is taken from the rp/story based off of it. x__@
