gaara from Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto, requested by a friend.
photoshop experiment, gone fairly well. I'm not thrilled about gaara, my males always need work, but the demon i'm pretty pleased with. for a two hour free gift doodle, i am willing to ignore the errors and be happy getting the color to work. :)

I haven't kept up with Naruto worth a damn, but I like the demon you've got in the background there. It's ominous and foreboding there just lurking over the guys shoulder. Good stuff.

D:< You just corrupted anime with the non-anime fanart of an anime! Paradox factors aside it seems to be a nice picture of an older Gaara and friend. Perhaps if the SandMonster was facing the same direction as Gaara it would better reflect their relationship sharing the same body and all. Even though the current effect seems to portray a more adversarial theme which demon-possession would entail. I like how the hair came out though. Is he holding a dollar or a green cloth?

Very nice, i love the effect that it has on you. Sure i may be a fan of gaara but thats not the reason i faved this piece. I love the colors in it as well... very cool
