The one on the left was just done for the hell of it. The one on the right has only two filters, but other than the circle and the other outlines it was completely re-drawn. The filters were in no way applied to the left image to result in the right.
I think I was trying to mimic SinisterClock's image of "LightGreyClock" but I can't really remember
