A Kingdom Hearts "Christmas"

'Twas the night before revolution, and all through the World of Darkness
Not a creature was stirring, not even a Heartless.
The hearts were stored away with the utmost care,
In hopes that the Superior soon would be there.

The order members were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of living once more danced in their heads.
And Roxas in his town clothes, and I under my hood,
Had just made our rounds, like good lookouts should.

When out on the Brink of Despair, there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my post to see what was the matter.
Away to the castle's entrance, I flew like a flash,
Tore open the doors, my eyes burning like hot ash.

The moon up above, with souls aglow,
Gave the illumination of three objects moving below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a knight, a mage, and a key so dear!

With a young boy, glowing like an aurora
I knew in a moment that it must be Sora.
More rapid than Sephiroth, his attacks they came
And he turned, looked to me and shouted my name.

"Xemnas! I'm here for my friends, Kairi and Riku!"
"We're here to find our lost King, too!"
The wizard and warrior stepped out from behind,
But I gave a chuckle, and paid them no mind.

As infinite silence before the Gummi Ships fly,
When they break such stillness, and mount to the sky.
So toward my shell, the heroes they flew,
Weapons held high, as if victory were soon.

And then, in a swirling, I disappeared to the roof
Ceasing the sound of each little hoof.
As I revealed in my head, and was turning around,
Down came a figure with a single bound.

He was dressed all in black, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with blood and soot.
A gleaming blade, flung over his back,
And he looked like a Nobody, despite this attack.

His eyes - well hidden, his hair how silver!
A confident smirk revealed in a sliver
At once, his weapon swung at me low,
But I knocked him back with just one blow.

On the floor, clenching hands and teeth,
The darkness encased him, and he made his leave.
It didn't take long for the key to find my lair
As the trio could be heard on my stairs.

They were quick and brave, though not much help
And I laughed when I saw them, in spite of myself!
Pointing with his key and a nod of his head,
Soon gave me something I outght to dread.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
Swinging his weapon, then turning with a jerk.
And laying the steel beside my nose,
And giving a push, up to the sky he rose!

He sprang to his stars, to his team gave a shout,
And away they both flew without a doubt.
But I heard the mage exclaim, I fleeing in fright,
"Sorry, Xemnas, but you won't be real on this Heartless night!"

I wrote this as a parody of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. It's for a cosplay skit that I plan on doing at one of the 2007 anime conventions. I'll update on that, so if anyone wants to see it performed, I'll post it here or you can send me a message. It is my first draft, and I'll probably revise it later, but I just wanted to post it so others could read it.

As you all know, I try to stay original. I try not to mirror the art of other people. So far as I know, no one else has written something like this. If you have written something like this, and you find my artwork to be too close to yours, you should feel free to tell me. Otherwise, enjoy.

The original A Visit From St. Nicholas/'Twas the Night Before Christmas written by Clement Clark Moore in 1823.
