At long last--a portrait of Eriyk sel Adhán (known in Aramansch as Erik Adamei), the second-senior Guardian in my novel
The Way of the Shadow Blade! Now you get to see the smile that earned him a lovely wife, and eventually a child!
I did this with no references except for a model of the nose (Tom Cruise's unfortunately...I hope there's no real resemblance!), and a model for the rings he puts in his hair (a watch I own). All else I did right out of my head.
Just one point I'm not sure how well I did on--Erik's eyes are supposed to be green. I don't know how good a job I did in making them appear to be light eyes.
Oh...one other note: because of the genetic condition that makes him blind, Erik can only "stare" straight ahead. It appears very direct, even aggressive to some people, but he doesn't mean to.

Very nice work on the details and the shading. :) Only thing I'd suggest is darkening the shading just a bit more like around his chin and shirt so the outline cannot be seen. Oh and I see no resemblance of Cruise. Ya did good!

Looks well done. He's got a good looking nose. ^-^ The only problem I have is that the eyes are much too big (especially the irises). Otherwise I can't much much else wrong. Good work.

This looks great. I love the way the dark and light tones are playing off one another throughout the composition. His nose and lips look especially good.
